CUMIN seeds have been found in the tombs of Pharaohs. Today CUMIN is found to be an essential spice in many cuisines: Mexican, Indian, and Moroccan to name a few. Freshly ground CUMIN is very pungent and has a sweet, pine-like aroma. It can be dry roasted first to bring out a nuttiness, which does mute the top piney notes. It is found in Indian PANCH PHORA and in Mexican CHILI POWDER.
